We came back to school on Monday of this week for our last term in Senior Infants. How the year has flown by! Before the Spring Break, we all dressed up in our green clothes and learnt about how some people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We learnt it was a public holiday which meant we didn’t have to go to school that day.
We also learnt about our National Flag, and how Ireland celebrated its 100th Birthday as a country.
We also discussed what happens in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day. We then each wrote an information text about what happens every St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland. Shamrocks are a national symbol of Ireland too, we coloured patterns onto our shamrocks. We are excited to continue our learning for our last term in Senior Infants!
