Over the last few weeks, we’ve been learning under the theme of the doctor’s surgery.
We’ve all taken turns role-playing in the doctor’s surgery and using oral language to talk about our illnesses and make appointments. We’ve mended broken ‘word bones’ and matched pictures of body parts with the correct word. The doctor’s surgery is a great theme for the children to discuss and learn from their own experiences. We all agreed that doctors are very nice people, and we especially love when they give us a lollypop!
